Thank you for choosing From Africa with Love / Explore Africa with Love (“we,” “our,” “our Company”, “representatives”, or “the Company”). These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“you”, “your representatives”, or “the traveler”) and the Company. By booking a trip, making a payment, or participating in any tour, you agree to the following terms.

1. Contract & Eligibility

Your booking becomes a binding contract once we receive your deposit or full payment.

To join a tour, you must:

Be at least 18 years old (or accompanied by a legal guardian).

Be physically able to participate in all scheduled activities unless otherwise notified.

2. Deposits & Payments

Deposits are $500 and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payment plans are offered as a courtesy and must be followed as scheduled.

Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

Your spot on the trip is not guaranteed until the required deposit is received.

3. Pricing & Inclusions

Tour prices are based on current exchange rates, partner/vendor fees, hotel availability, and activity costs.

Prices include only the items listed in the final itinerary. Typical inclusions may involve:

• Lodging
• Listed activities
• Ground transportation
• Airport transfers (if stated)
• Some meals
• Prices do not include:
• Airfare (unless expressly stated)
• Travel insurance
• Optional activities
• Visa fees
• Vaccination fees
• COVID tests (if applicable)
• Medical expenses
• Gratuities
• Alcoholic drinks
• Incidentals
• Personal purchases

If vendor or government costs change unexpectedly, we reserve the right to adjust pricing. You will be notified promptly if this occurs.

4. Traveler Responsibilities

By joining a tour, you agree to:

1. Follow the instructions of staff, guides, and vendors
2. Treat all travelers, staff, and locals with respect
3. Arrive on time for scheduled activities
4. Behave in a manner that does not endanger yourself or others
5. Notify us of any medical conditions that may impact your participation

Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without refund.

5. Health, Fitness & Medical

You are responsible for determining whether you are physically able to participate in all activities.

We strongly recommend:

• Visiting your doctor before travel
• Bringing personal medication
• Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance
• The Company is not responsible for:
• Medical conditions, injuries, illnesses, or loss of life
• Pre-existing conditions
• Lack of travel insurance
• Costs associated with medical treatment abroad

6. Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)

We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance that covers:

• Trip cancellation
• Missed flights or delays
• Medical emergencies
• Lost baggage
• Evacuations

Insurance protects you from unexpected events. Our Company is not liable for expenses that could have been covered by insurance.

7. Itinerary Changes

Travel in Africa often requires flexibility. Weather, local events, vendor availability, or safety concerns may require itinerary changes.

We may adjust:

• Activities
• Hotels
• Transportation
• Scheduling

We will always provide a comparable substitution when possible.

No refunds are offered for itinerary adjustments.

8. Cancellations by Traveler

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.

If you cancel:

• You may request documentation for insurance claims.
• You may transfer your booking to another person up to 45 days before the trip, subject to approval.

9. Cancellations by the Company

We may cancel the tour due to:

1. Natural disasters
2. Political instability
3. Safety concerns
4. Vendor or partner issues

If we cancel, you will receive:

1. A full refund or
2. Credit toward a future trip

This is the limit of our liability. We are not responsible for additional costs such as flight tickets, visa application fees, vaccination fees, etc.

10. Rooming & Accommodation

Room types (single, double, shared) depend on availability.

If you request a double occupancy, for everyone’s safety and comfort, you will be responsible for selecting your own roommate.

Hotels are selected based on safety, comfort, and reliability. Our Company is not responsible for:

• Hotel amenities
• Maintenance issues
• Room preferences
• Bed sizes
• Noise
• Water or power outages (which may be common in some regions)

11. Flights & Airport Transfers

Unless clearly stated, flights are not included.

Travelers must:

1. Arrive on the specified date
2. Provide accurate flight details to our representative.
3. Understand that missed flights or delays are the traveler’s responsibility

If included, airport transfers apply only to:

1. The designated arrival date and time
2. Designated airport
3. Missed transfer windows may result in additional costs.

12. Behavior & Safety

We always prioritize safety. You may be removed from the tour without a refund if you:

• Engage in illegal activity
• Endanger others
• Use drugs or excessive alcohol
• Ignore safety instructions
• Disrupt group harmony
• Local laws are strictly enforced.

13. Risk Acknowledgment

Travel involves inherent risks, including:

• Transportation
• Wildlife and nature
• Adventure activities
• Uneven terrain
• Political conditions
• Food and water differences
• By traveling with us, you voluntarily assume these risks.
• Our Company is not liable for:
• Injuries or loss of life
• Illnesses
• Accidents
• Loss or theft
• Acts of nature
• Delays or changes outside our control

14. Visas, Entry Requirements & Documents

You are responsible for:

• Your passport
• Visa requirements
• Vaccination requirements
• COVID or other health-related entry mandates

Our Company will provide guidance but is not responsible for denied entry or missed flights due to documentation issues.

15. Photography & Media Release

By joining the tour, you grant our Company permission to use:

• Photos
• Videos
• Testimonials
• For marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.

If you wish to opt out, you must notify us before the tour begins.

16. Complaints

If an issue arises:

1. Notify the guide or a representative of our Company immediately.
2. Provide an opportunity for us to resolve it.

We cannot address complaints made only after you return home.

17. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Our Company is not responsible for:

• Acts of third-party vendors
• Airline delays or cancellations
• Lost or stolen items
• Personal negligence
• Medical emergencies
• Force majeure events
• Our liability shall never exceed the price you paid for the tour.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, unless otherwise required by local jurisdiction.

20. Tour Group Pricing

The cost of Single Occupancy is $2850 (USD) per person.

The cost of Double Occupancy is $2250 (USD) per person.

Please note that your spot is not confirmed until you have signed and returned the Booking Terms & Conditions Acknowledgement Form and paid the non-refundable $500 deposit. Spots are on a first-come, first-served basis and not guaranteed until booking. 

To secure your reservation, please complete both actions as soon as possible, as spots are only officially reserved once these two requirements are met. 

19. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or attending a tour with From Africa with Love / Explore Africa with Love, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these (All Sections of the) Booking Terms & Conditions.
